BPI Medical offers a wide range of medical repair services under one roof. We perform repair services for handheld instruments, flexible and rigid scopes, endoscopy equipment, and all electrical and pneumatic motor tools. We offer quick turn times & computerized tracking for all repairs performed at our facility. BPI Medical is also proud to continue the expansion of the Equipment Sales division, specializing in refurbished medical equipment ranging from flexible scopes to OR Tables.

BPI Medical was founded in 1976 by Ben Overmars Sr., who learned to repair surgical instruments as a youth in his native Holland. After immigrating to the USA, Mr. Overmars opened his own surgical repair and sharpening business. BPI Medical quickly grew and in 1993, BPI expanded its repair services to offer pneumatic and electric handpiece repairs by hiring O.E.M.-trained technicians from MicroAire and Zimmer/Hall. Two years later, Olympus closed 8 of its 14 U.S. repair centers, allowing BPI Medical to hire a number of these technicians and further expanded its operations to include the repair of flexible and rigid endoscopes.

Our repair facility is located in Fife, Washington, a busy commercial center between Seattle and Tacoma. With 15,000 square feet of workspace, BPI Medical continues to grow to meet its customers growing needs. The BPI Medical team currently numbers over 60 employees, and our growing sales staff covers the repair needs of hospitals and surgery centers throughout the US and the world!
